Many DJ’s can dazzle the crowd and still remain behind closed doors in the darkness of the booth. Yet for DJ Dubbz music is not just a form of expression, it’s his life. For this dynamic college student he sees outside the box. His tireless work ethics and DJ skill makes him the “Young Don of New York”

At the age of 13, the turntables of DJ success opened his eyes to the world of music and soon after brought his first set of Technique 1200’s. From then on DJ Dubbz has set forth to expand this talent and spread his selections over the Tri-state area. With his radiant personality, Dubbz landed a job at the International Music Center and increased his extensive music knowledge. He continued to progress and give him a name by shining in New York City hot spots such as; but not limited to the China Club and Club Speed. However, his journey didn’t end there.

DJ Dubbz had the opportunity to participate in a program called “I Have A Dream Foundation” which took inner city kids and assisted them with college funds and paved their way to success. He became one of the spokespersons on behalf of the “I Have A Dream Foundation” and they invested in the copyrights of his imprint, “Evil Grin Entertainment” which is now his own DJ company where he plans to expand in other entrepreneurial endeavors.

A craze for notoriety is his new goal and he hasn’t stopped at anything to get to the top. In 2006, He took John Jay Radio and made it his nest. Using this gift on the turntables, he built John Jay Radio from the ground up and made news with guest appearances such as K.A.R and various underground artists. In other airwaves he is a Co-host on Llegamos Radio which is a Latin theme comedy online radio show.

Dubbz is a visionary with confident taste which makes him an influential DJ this community, John Jay Radio and New York City clubs.

“I want the game to be special again, raise the bar in music", says Dubbz “Because if it’s no longer creative, then there’s no intimate connection to the listener”

Dubbz continues to strive and maintains a sense e of humor along with this likable swagger. He has an ear for talent and is eager to become a future entrepreneur and philanthropist. Currently Dubbz splits his days on John Jay Radio, Llegamos Radio and Clubs in the New York area.

“I want to become an icon in urban media, fashion and music as a whole. You can call me the future innovator of urban culture”
